menú del día (y de todos los días)

Hi, strangers friends, I'm here to talk about blablaness: Here we are, in this frying pan place with intensive summer university class, hoping than the pressure don't crash us down. Yes, the world keep it's course while we were in strike (well, it change a little bit, letś not be modests), and now I realize that for the rest of the life I have double work, living in the hard world, and trying to subvert it. ¿how contradictory can' t it be?. The days are so little and we can't stop, because if we get stuck, we cease to be ourselves-fighters. I feel now the global warming, while it doesn't melt our brains we can go on and try to have fun

Possibilities

Hi fellows, I’m here again to write you about the students fashion political issues. Today in our actual context of the show business world, thanks to the holy medial press, we can now know what’s happened in the real world (don’t we?). Everybody is talking about it, since his own live experience, and some people doubt, doubt, doubt, the doubt (the biological mother all revolutions), but the mode is that most of us just talks insanity prejudice from old times. Intolerance and the piracy of the mind it’s dividing and making this coexisting even harder. We had reach a sort of climax here, and the politically correct politicians had been forced by the hysterical context to take down their masks and show their true human been and their real thoughts. A dictatorship is across the street and we are closing to the First Civil World War of all times. I’m not a pesi-mystic, but, men!, the world is ill and everybody try to have the best live possible before twelve-twelve come and Mayans gods take us (people and raccoons)  to the deepest end of times (well, some of theme are just trying to take the power at any cost, and any time lost). But the heat it’s coming and the hormones are in all our brain, people are getting used to violence, even in the old chaste Britain. Watch out!, we have only one minute to think before we turn in into monkeys.

My blogging experience

I’ve never have a blog because I’ve always thought that was a complex thing to do, I don’t know you but technical troubles and high technology freaks me out, but now doesn’t seem so, have a simple blog, it’s easy and quickly. Now I have two blogs one for English class and another in Spanish language for my personal stuffs of the mind. Writing in English with a blog, improves your English, with the time you get use to think certain thoughts only in an English way. A positive reason for blogging in a class it’s that at the end you learning result it’s very rewarding, because you can’t be connected with other people who might read it (in an indirect way) and that’s also good for facing you opinions and thinking in the online world. The negative things of my experience is that usually there is one topic which you should write about, and sometimes you don’t come out with something to say, it should it be 3 or 4 optional topics to write about. Those are my opinions about blogging in English class.

Shooting experience

Hi, friends, I’m going to talk today about a non-story that happened to me when I was about eleven years old. By that time I lived with my mother and my sister (as now I live) and we were to visit my mother’s friend Aisa, she was married with a pensionary Italian journalist. The point is that he loved to shoot with a german rifle, this rifles that are in the ferias for the children to play. He shooting plastic bottles and he can’t even rose them because of his bad aiming. I ask his for shooting and he let me use it, I drop all the bottles each one in only one try (I know how to shoot because I was in the school where the sons of the military in La Habana go, in fact for only one shoot missing I could have been sniper). So the Italian guy call me Guillermo Tell, and that’s the history about how I was Guillermo Tell, and have fun with it.

Walking through

Here we are, in the eyed of the hurricane, with streaks at every corner. The actual daylive it’s resistance with the police, arrested people, hunger strikes and talking about it. Chilean education it’s the most expensive in the whole world and it isn’t the best. With a government who don’t care about illiteracy and a parliament which most of their integrants own university business. The requests from the students are that the state take care of the responsibility of the Chilean education and don’t leave it at the mercy of the neoliberal system. Here in our faculty we want to cancelled the debt than many students have for been studding, it’s not fear that a young person, who doesn’t have money, have to purchase a large debt with a bank (whom doesn’t care), and then pay it back until pay the amount of a department. We want to end up with the tax to the books not just for be able to buy theme, also for publish them in a more independent and cheap way. Of curse, either the president or the minister of education, want the state to take that responsibility, they don’t want that university education would be free (not even for a few percent of the population). And all we got it’s ephemeral money (a number not substantial changes), repression and antiterrorist laws, that’s how a conservator business man deal with a problem. In my opinion this government must be taken of it’s post, or at least be cuestioned (like happen in Argentina during the economical crisis). Piñera has a percent of approval of a 20% an a 66% of rejection and it must been replace by someone who win a new election process.

TECNOLOGY

Hi, again fellows, today i'm going to write about my favorite piece of technology. It's the blender (look at the photograph below if you have doubts of what it is); for me it's a very important artefact in my live. In my family we got it sice I was a child and I'ts very old and very used. I used a lot for make mixes of stange food and create brew for friends who loose bets. Also it´s an industralized object that make more "easy" the human life, contaminate and is disposable, and these characteristics is important in the history of humanity and make this "thing" very atractive to think about it.
The blender gives you a bunch of posibilities, you know, like when you put your entire brain into the mixer, turn it on and then you suck the liquid into your nose and then you got it again but now all the ideas can't get hold of. The blender is great, without it, collage wouldn't exist, we couldn´t mix thing that are even contradictory; and is an important tool for this times of globalization when all kind of cultures and times are connected,  and this interaction make no right or wrong, no black or white, just a crisis of trues and (of course) a mix
So, this is the blender, or the mixer (how it really should be call).    bye!

Hi, fellows. This time, as you already know, I'm going to talk about a movie that I like so much. The name of it is THE HOURS, it was a 2002 American film that was inspired on the novel of Virginia Woolf "Mrs. Dalloway". The movie is about three different women of three different contexts that are connected by the book, one of them is Virginia Woolf herself. I have seen this movie about eight times, I love it because of the acting, it was brilliant, and because the film has a great sense of the time (that is not lineal but chaotic) and the editing work is wonderful; I also like that my two favorites actresses (Toni Collete and Meryl Streep) kiss another women, those scenes are very beautiful. So, this is it, it's a good movie, if you haven't seen it, do it!
bye, friends, see you at the U.

DAVID HOCKNEY

He is an english artist that I like so much. He started working with expresionist painting but later he became one of the best british pop artist of the twentieth century. He used to work with painting and words but later , and the years of his work that I like most, he started to work with phtography. He taked his pictures with a polaroide camera and he practiced photocollage, creating an atmosphere that he called "joiners", where he played with the diferents angles an the natural movement of the scene he was taken, making this montage very cinematographic. Later he left photography for the painting because he get bored of the restrictions that he see in photography. I like so much this especific work because, at the begining of this year I was working with something that is alike, and then when I see all his experiment with his tiny photographies I could strengthen my own work. You know!, culture it's a net where we influence each other and we, the artist, don't have to rivalize, just work together and don't let the egos, killed or output.
see you guys!

Hi, nice to be here in this medial plataform!. I'm going to be in this english's class for these months, because I want to learn how to understand and comunicate in english. I'm an artist, or I hope being it, so my expectations about this class are than at the end I can have a conversation about art, with anybody, in english without the wall of the language. Also than we can read any text about art or other subject. So, this is it. Ihope we can learn all together
